School Delay &
Cancellation News

In case of bad weather (such as ice, snow, or fog) tune in to your local radio stations WCEN FM and WCFX FM and/or Mt. Pleasant Public School’s local TV broadcast on channel 98. You may also get school closing information on local channel 9/10 (CBS), channel 5 (NBC), and channel 12 (ABC).  If school is released early, we will follow the plan on your child’s early dismissal form.

We will not be able to make calls home in the event of an early dismissal but will be announced on the school Channel 98.

Classroom Requests

Parents wishing to make a request for a particular type of classroom environment they feel their child would work best in, may fill out a Classroom Request Form. 

These forms will be available in the school office and are due to the principal no later than Friday, May 25th.  These forms will be used only as a guide as the principal and teachers work together to make the best learning situation for ALL students.

Kindergarten Round-Up Information

If you have a child that will be five by December 1, 2012 this information is for you! Pullen School will hold its annual Kindergarten-Round-Up on the following day and time:
Tuesday, May 22, 2012
Session #1 – 5:00-6:00
Session #2 – 6:30-7:30
Both sessions will be held at Pullen School.
Call Delayne at Central Office, 775-2302, to make an appointment for you and your child today!

It is vital that the school has correct phone numbers where you or your emergency contacts can be reached at all times throughout the school day.  If you change phone numbers, or have additional numbers you can supply us with, please notify the school office today.  If your child needs you, we need to be able to reach you.  Thank you for making this a priority.

Are you missing a coat, some mittens, snow pants, maybe a sweatshirt or a lunch box?  We currently have a lost and found table full of unclaimed items.
